Believe it or not?? But Vista Home Premium really can run Vista DreamScene.. Haha.. Seriously.. I don't believe me either.. But It's true..

I have this file which is extracted from original Vista.. What I need are those:
DreamScene.dll (%WinDir%\System32\DreamScene.dll)
DreamScene.dll.mui (%WinDir%\System32\en-US\DreamScene.dll.mui)
themecpl.dll (%WinDir%\System32\themecpl.dll)
themecpl.dll.mui (%WinDir%\System32\en-US\themecpl.dll.mui)
And of coz the DreamScene Registry.

All you have to do is to modified your system (it is obvious that the only folder you gonna need to modified is the system32..)

And you have to know how to use the Command Prompt (It is located at accessories in your "Start Button" alternately use "run" and type in "cmd" without the quotes..)

Step 1: copy DreamScene.dll to the %WinDir%\System32\
p/s: my %WinDir% is C:\Windows it is depend to where you put your windows file to

Step 2: copy DreamScene.dll.mui to the %WinDir%\System32\en-US\

Step 3: this is where you gonna need to use Command Prompt
-type is "takeown /f %WinDir%\System32\themecpl.dll" without the quotes
-eg: takeown /f C:\Windows\System32\themecpl.dll
-key in "icacls %WinDir%\System32\themecpl.dll /grant "%username%":f"
-eg: icacls C:\Windows\System32\themecpl.dll /grant "HaQiM-PC\Syah":f
-go to your System32 folder and rename the themecpl.dll to themecpl.dll.original (alternately just type in "copy %WinDir%\System32\themecpl.dll %WinDir%\System32\themecpl.dll.original" into the command prompt)
p/s this is important that you might need to restore your system in case of a failure
-then copy themecpl.dll to the %WinDir%\System32\themecpl.dll

Step 4: The whole process goes to the themecpl.dll.mui
-type is "takeown /f %WinDir%\System32\en-US\themecpl.dll.mui" without the quotes
-key in "icacls %WinDir%\System32\en-US\themecpl.dll.mui /grant "%username%":f"
-rename the themecpl.dll.mui to themecpl.dll.mui.original
-then copy themecpl.dll.mui to the %WinDir%\System32\en-US\themecpl.dll.mui
Close your Command Prompt (You've finished with it)

Step 5: Run the application called regedit (This application should be in your system : c\windows\regedit.exe in my case)
Once opened it
Click on File/Import...
Then browse for the "DreamScene Registry.reg"

Final Step: Thats is it. Restart your Computer and you should be able to use your any MPG or MPEG format as your Desktop Background.. And you gonna need Vista Aero Theme in order to be able to use Windows DreamScene.
